Bird nests

Nests have been a recurrent theme in Kim Boulukos’ work beginning in 2009 with her series of 9 perched bird dog nests. Her nest sculptures, some occupied, others empty, are made of metal, resin, papier mâché, slate or dried seeds and other vegetal materials.
