The charm of lithography
Drawings are done on limestones obtained from the original Solnhofen quarries in Germany and printed on a 19th century German printing press, one of 3 still in existence in Europe. One color corresponds to one drawing on the stone. Between each color, the stone is cleaned and prepared for a new drawing, thus a new color.
All lithographs are printed on Fabriano 100% cotton paper. Paper dimensions: 100x70cm.
